Well hello once again

These newsletters come around very quickly it seems that I was writing one only the other day.  This will be my last one as Chairman, I hope you have enjoyed my ramblings as much I have enjoyed writing them.

What a difficult time we have had over the last 18 months. The committee and myself would like to thank you for your patience over this difficult time. We have all worked hard to try and keep things moving on.

We have at last been able to get out on the field to have some fun. The 1300th was a successful fun weekend the youth had a go kart track a bouncy castle and was enjoyed by all.  We had many visitors on the field as well members enjoying school dinner in the evening.

We also had a holiday rally in Cambridge a very good site and those that attended enjoyed the week. We then came down to The Bush Blackbird and Thrush in East Peckham.  Once again, a very good venue good pub grub and quite a lot to do in the area.  Moving on from there to Appledore a much loved site by members.  We held a couple of quizzes much fun and laughter was had by all.

Nominations was a laidback event very enjoyable and held at White House Farm all ways a good venue.

I would now like to thank you all for your support over the last three years as Chairman.

I look forward to meeting as many of you as possible out on a field or school playground soon.

Regards

Sue Smith
