Hello Friends
I hope you are all looking forward to some better weather, so that we can all get out on grass again.
Not too much has been happening since the New Year, I hope those of you that didn’t come to the New Year Event
had an enjoyable time over the holiday period.  The Noggin ‘n’ Natter took place at Berwick Village Hall in January, it was enjoyed by those who attended. Followed by a very successful Blue Nose at White House Farm.
Valentines took place at Willingdon School and was enjoyed by everyone, a hot meal was provided then questions for husbands & wives to see if they matched. Also a Mr & Mrs Quiz had everyone laughing.
Unfortunately the Birthday at Royhill Wood had to be cancelled due to the unpresented weather and ground conditions.  However, Fun & Games at Townings went ahead despite ground conditions not being
able to accommodate us at Townings Farm, we luckily were able to hold this event at Willingdon. Where the Birthday
Cake was finally cut by four attending Past Chairmans, myself & Alana Youth Chairman. The evening consisted of Burgers, chips with salad trimmings, a couple of games of Bingo & music after.  We have some interesting
events coming up in the near future.  A return to the Bush Blackbird and Thrush with a Western & Country theme,
this is over the May Day Bank holiday weekend, the Centre Horseshoe competition will be held this weekend.
Bridge Farm, Appledore we still need officers for this or it may be cancelled.  The Spring B/H weekend at Bow Bridge
Marina has been moved to Southern Counties Historic Vehicles at Copthorne.  Also 6 Bells ’a’ Ringing is now at Berwick Parish Field. Beeches Place Farm is a new site for us & the Youth will be running this with help. Also the Centre Lawn Darts will be held this weekend. Next another new site Mill Barn Farm, so get your bookings in.
For those of you who are unaware Steve Gibson has taken on the role of Rally Secretary & is working on the 2024 programme. Please give him your support. We hope to see you out on a field soon.
Thanks
Bob
