Since my New Year Chat, several things have been happening within the Centre, unfortunately Chris Page and Steve Gibson stepped down from the committee for personal reasons.
We had a very successful New Year Rally, those who attended it enjoyed themselves, despite the fact uncertainty if it was going ahead or not.
Unfortunately we had to cancel the Noggin ‘n’ Natter due to lack of numbers booking in.
The Blue Nose Rally went ahead and those who attended all enjoyed the slight change in programme.
The Rally at Gatwick CAMC site was cancelled due to lack of interest. Due to the storm at the end of February the Early Bird rally had to be cancelled.
The rally at Willingdon was held as the Birthday rally, unfortunately Sandy & I both contracted Covid and couldn’t attend. However those who went enjoyed a Baked Potato meal with Birthday Cake.
Paddy’s at St Richards went ahead and what a time was had by all, Steve’s brother John came over from Ireland and entertained us with a Quiz (with several rounds) and then a Karaoke session, John has a brilliant singing voice.
The rally at Hole Park, was chill out (in more ways than one) rally giving ralliers a chance to visit the gardens and the area, Thank you to Graham & Sue Young for stepping into help run this rally for their 1st time.
Due to no Rally Officers the Easter Rally at Royal Victoria Park, was cancelled.
May Bank-Holiday is at Sharnfold Farm and a rally at Little Parrock Farm mid-May. The Platinum Jubilee Bank Holiday will take place at Rye Rugby Club from 1-5 June.
We are pleased to announce that Jan Goodsell has been co-opted onto committee as Treasurer. However at this time we still need someone to take on the Rally Secretary position for the Centre.
Also still needed Rally Officers for one of the rallies on this year’s board.
The 2023 Rally board is now on line.
